Macrae Residence
   Site: A new dwelling constructed on a sloping site in a residential neighbourhood.

Problem Statement: The site sloped from front to back. The client requested a dwelling that was integrated into the landscape and wouldn't be imposing at the entry.

Design Solution: We worked with the client to set the building into the slope to take advantage of grading to reduce the scale of the house. Additionally we were able to use the grade to create intimate exterior spaces around the house.
