Oppenheimer Park awarded CSLA National Design Award

We are pleased to announce that Oppenheimer Park has been awarded a 2011 CSLA Award of Excellence. The project was completed in association with McFarlane Green Biggar Architecture for the Vancouver Park Board. Since its opening in the summer of 2010 the park has become an important public place within the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.

The WE: Vancouver exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery (Feb 11 - May 1 2011) features an installation from space2place. A cedar play hut will be part of the exhibit for the Univercity childcare living building currently under construction.

WE: Vancouver –12 Manifestos for the City examines Vancouver through the extraordinary range of practices, actions and ideas that shape and activate it.
